An exclusive Rodin bis Perfume event with Linda Rodin herself, in Chicago

Linda Rodin by Ari Seth Cohen

Mark your calendars, Rodin beauty enthusiasts. The creator of the admired beauty oils, Linda Rodin is coming to town and to launch her new scent event, RODIN bis perfume, which is described as “intensely personal, capturing a lost mid-century elegance” that is “a classic green-violet-orris scent both complex and graceful.”

Lifestyle curators extraordinarie(s) Lance Lawson and Jim Wetzel of space519 will welcome beauty’s most celebrated innovators, Linda Rodin, to their coveted Magnificent Mile shopping destination on Wednesday, September 3 for an exclusive event. Rodin will be on hand to meet guests as they sip champagne and shop her coveted collection of oils and skincare.

And if you don’t know much about Linda Rodin, brace yourselves..

As an acclaimed stylist, Rodin has dressed the most gorgeous and charismatic women in the world – from Madonna and Halle Berry to supermodels Gisele Bundchen and Adriana Lima.  But she saw a void of simple, luxurious products in the marketplace.

Rodin brought her style smarts, her instinct for beauty, and her demand for perfection from her world as a stylist to the skincare arena.  After experimenting with essential oils in her bathroom for nearly two years, Rodin put the finishing touches on her first dream elixir, the original RODIN olio lusso face oil, in 2007.  The models and makeup artists she worked with tried and loved it, and soon RODIN olio lusso was selling to a cult following at a few select stores.  Magazine coverage and an international buzz followed.

“Jim and I are thrilled to host Linda in our store.  We have carried her line since we first opened our doors and to this day, her face oil remains our best selling beauty product.  We believe so much in her and in her aesthetic and she has built a huge fan base with our clients,” says co-owner of space519 Lance Lawson.
